The International Confederation for Business Advancement (ICFBA) is a community of independent business consultants who have achieved our Accreditation.

Our Accredited Partners (APs) operate from offices throughout the world.

ICFBA is pre-qualified and registered with a number of institutions and government trade bodies (including The World Bank, the EU, the UN and the Inter-American Development Bank) and is kept informed of the projects they have available. However, our Accredited Partners (APs) can follow up only a fraction of these.

From the hundreds of projects published every day, we aim to select at least 5 which we feel are best suited to our Accredited Partners. Of course, if any of our APs have specific "requests" we also include those.

Our APs then review those projects and based on their skills, clients with spare capacity and potential clients they would want to work with, they chose the projects to tender for.

Any AP who has the time, wishes to be part of a team and is willing to take responsibility for part of a contract, will make themselves known and be included in the project from start to finish. We would normally expect a number of APs to be working as a team to manage a contract.

One of the advantages of our project orientated approach to working with client companies, is that when an AP approaches a company it will be with an offer of business and with a simple proposal of appointing the company to be part of a team delivering the contract!

If you are already working in consultancy or interim management that is fine. Our APs each decide how much time they have available for ICFBA projects, and choose if they wish to focus on local or international projects. Being fully independent, each AP controls their own level of involvement.
